Arrest Made in 2021 Murder of Lyman Veteran; International Manhunt Underway for Second Suspect

Cynthia Wilson in custody; daughter Kendra Wilson wanted in connection with deadly shooting

LYMAN, S.C. – Murder of Lyman Veteran: A major break has been made in a nearly four-year-old homicide case that stunned the Lyman community.

The Lyman Police Department has confirmed the arrest of Cynthia Wilson, 64, of Seneca, South Carolina, in connection with the August 18, 2021, murder of Connor Ethan Lloyd, a 29-year-old military veteran who was found shot in the driveway of the home he shared with his fiancée in the Lyman Farms subdivision on Grover Drive.

The incident happened on Grover Drive Aug. 18 at about 12:13 a.m. Lyman Police say officers responded to a shooting call in the Farms Subdivision. They found a victim, who had been shot, lying in his driveway. Lloyd was then rushed to the hospital following the shooting but tragically succumbed to his injuries.

Police announced Thursday that Wilson has been charged with the following:

• Accessory before the fact of murder

• Accessory after the fact of murder

• Conspiracy to commit murder

Meanwhile, law enforcement is actively searching for her daughter, Kendra Leigh Wilson, also of Seneca, S.C., who is currently wanted on identical charges:

• Accessory before the fact of murder

• Accessory after the fact of murder

• Conspiracy to commit murder

According to investigators, an international manhunt is now underway for Kendra Wilson, involving the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the U.S. Marshals Service, and INTERPOL.

Authorities describe the investigation as “very fluid,” and additional arrests are expected.

Anyone with information about Kendra Wilson’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Lyman Police Department, SLED, or INTERPOL immediately.
