SLED Investigating Fatal Shooting of Quinton Banks in Denmark, South Carolina

DENMARK, S.C. (CC News Network) – The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating the shooting death of a Quinton Banks found dead outside an apartment complex in Denmark, South Carolina.
Quinton Banks, 41, was shot and killed in the parking lot of Edisto Apartments—commonly known as the White Lane Apartments—early in the morning on June 23, 2024.
The Denmark Police Department requested SLED’s assistance in the case, which remains unsolved. The Bamberg County Coroner’s Office confirmed Banks as the victim.
Authorities say Banks was found with a fatal gunshot wound at the scene. No suspects have been named publicly, and investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
SLED is asking for the public’s help.

A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Anonymous tips may also be submitted to Crime Stoppers of the Lowcountry by calling 843-554-1111. The deadline for reward eligibility is July 1, 2024.
