South Carolina Teens Arrested for Murders While Kaden Moses’ Killer Remains Free
By James Seidel, CC News Network
CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. – The alarming trend of teen violence and murders, and arrests in South Carolina continues, with multiple cases of young suspects being taken into custody for deadly crimes. Meanwhile, justice remains elusive for the family of Kaden Moses, whose killer has yet to be arrested.
13-Year-Old Charged in Chester County Stabbing
A 13-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old in Chester County. Authorities say the victim succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, the Chester County Sheriff’s Office filed juvenile petitions for murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime against the suspect, according to 6th Circuit Solicitor Randy Newman and Deputy Solicitor Candice Lively. Due to their ages, officials have not released the names of either the victim or the accused.
The case is under active investigation, and law enforcement is urging the public to come forward with any information.
15-Year-Old and 22-Year-Old Arrested in Darlington Murder
In a separate case in Darlington, two suspects—a 15-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man—have been arrested and charged with murder following the fatal shooting of 73-year-old Eugene Williams near a local car wash over the weekend.
Darlington Police Chief Jimmy Davis confirmed the arrests, identifying Adron Lashawn Agbo, 22, as a suspect in Williams’ murder and armed robbery. Agbo was taken into custody in Florence. The 15-year-old suspect is being transferred to a youth detention facility in Columbia, with authorities filing paperwork to charge him as an adult.
Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact Darlington Police at 843-398-4026.
Justice Delayed for Kaden Moses’ Family
While teen killers in South Carolina are quickly arrested and charged, one case continues to stand out: the murder of Kaden Moses. Despite the availability of evidence and public calls for justice, Kaden’s killer remains free, leaving his family without closure.
The community is standing up for justice for Kaden Moses. On Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 11 a.m. to Whenever (1 p.m.), supporters will gather at the Laurens County Courthouse (100 Hillcrest Drive, Laurens, SC 29360) to demand accountability for the tragic death of 14-year-old Kaden Moses.
Unlike the swift arrests in Chester and Darlington, Kaden’s case has not seen the same urgency. This stark contrast raises serious concerns about the prioritization of justice in South Carolina. Why are some cases pursued aggressively while others languish?

A Troubling Trend of Youth Violence
The surge in teen-perpetrated homicides in South Carolina is deeply troubling, reflecting a growing crisis in youth crime. In just the past few months:
- A 13-year-old stabbed a 16-year-old to death in Chester County.
- A 15-year-old and a 22-year-old were arrested for killing a 73-year-old man in Darlington.
- Kaden Moses’ murderer remains unidentified and uncharged.
With minors being charged as adults and sentenced for violent crimes, the inconsistency in the justice system is glaring. The Moses family’s fight for answers remains unresolved, despite clear precedents for swift arrests in similar cases.
The Bigger Picture
As teen violence in South Carolina continues to rise, the justice system’s unequal responses to these cases demand scrutiny. Families of victims deserve answers, and the public deserves consistency in how these crimes are investigated and prosecuted.
For now, the question remains: Why is Kaden Moses’ murderer still walking free?
