CC News has created these services for your personal enjoyment, education, and entertainment. This Terms of Use agreement (the “Agreement”) describes the terms and conditions under which CC News permits your use of the Site, online, mobile applications, newsletters, podcasts, and social media outlets owned by CC News related to the Site, and any other services of CC News that display this Agreement (collectively with the Site and the applications, the “Services”). This Agreement constitutes a legal agreement between you and CC News. Use of this Site or any of the other Services is also governed by CC News’ Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.
By viewing, interacting with, submitting information to, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement, you must not use the News Services. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to modify, update, or otherwise change this Agreement at any time without advanced notice to you. By using these Services after such changes are posted, you agree to be bound by the changes. This Agreement was last modified on January 1st, 2023. We may provide additional terms, such as rules for certain activities and services including, but not limited to, contests, sweepstakes, subscription email, text clubs, and other interactive features and services (“Additional Terms”). To the extent there is a conflict between the TOU and the Additional Terms, the Additional Terms shall govern.

You may use material from this Site or the Services only for your personal, non-commercial use (including posting on your personal social networking platforms, provided you do not delete, change, or obscure any of the CC News content and do not misrepresent the CC News content as your own). No portion of this Site or the other Services may be republished, reproduced, duplicated, copied, uploaded, downloaded, posted, transmitted, modified, sold, or otherwise exploited for any purpose not expressly permitted by CC News or under copyright law. In the event of any permitted copying, redistribution, or publication of copyrighted material, no changes in or deletion of trademarks, author attribution, or copyright notices may be made. You acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights by downloading material from this Site or the Services.

Monitoring and Removal: CC News reserves the right to monitor, modify, or remove content for any reason at its sole discretion.
DISCLAIMER WITH RESPECT TO ADVERTISERS, CONTRACTORS, AND THIRD PARTIES
CC News specifically disclaims all responsibility for third parties that may contract with CC News or provide content, information, or services to this Site or the Services. Your sole recourse for disputes with such third parties will be directly with them.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes shall be adjudicated exclusively in Columbia, South Carolina.
